Indonesia Wildlife Photo Tours
Why join us?

When we began leading Indonesia photography workshops in 2015 our vision was to provide photographers with exceptional, world-class programs. Today, we continue to lead the way with new, innovative itineraries as photographers become more adventurous with the experiences they are seeking. Our workshops cover a wide range of regions across Indonesia with comprehensive, all-inclusive programs which have become our trademark. Through many years of arranging and managing logistics we have established a solid network of dependable and hospitable partners throughout the archipelago. As a result, our itineraries are well organised and deliver a seamless, quality experience.

What can I expect on a workshop/tour?

Quality photography takes thorough planning and a complete understanding of the environments . Our photo workshops and tours are designed from a photographer's perspective. This is why we are always on location well ahead of prime photography conditions for our major landscape sessions, in the morning and evening, to allow you to work with your camera in a relaxed and creative way. Our knowledge of animal and bird behaviour coupled with the support of our expert local guides ensures excellent opportunities to capture powerful images of the wildlife species we target. Also, your photography guide Phillip Bartlett is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia which allows you to interact in a natural way when photographing people in traditional marketplaces, out in the ricefields, or wherever we encounter local culture.

Are the workshops suitable for all skill levels?

Yes. Our workshops are suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to professionals. Our emphasis is to give photographers the best opportunities to make great images during the workshop, and provide instruction based on individual requirements.

What fitness level is required?

Our workshops are designed to be suitable for people of all ages in good health and moderate fitness. On each workshop listing the activity level is indicated to give you an idea of what to expect. While activities, unless specifically indicated, are not strenuous, on some workshops we may be taking walks on tracks in wilderness areas which may involve uphill walks and uneven ground. It will be necessary to carry your own camera equipment for these activities. Should you have any concerns about your own capabilities and/or fitness in relation to a particular workshop, please contact us to discuss this before registering. There is no obligation to participate on any hikes, and in most cases we can offer an alternative for you.

May my non-photographer spouse, friend or partner join me?

Yes. Non-photographers are most welcome to join any of our workshops. Please note that as our workshops are limited to a small number of participants we are not able to offer any discount for non-photographers who join us.

Can you arrange an exclusive workshop for me and my group/friends?

Yes. We have extensive experience in organising customised workshops and adventures on an individual and group basis. Please contact us to discuss your dream trip.
